This guy has put together a video that would have taken a lot of time. He has shaped his Bendaroos into fighters and he has sequenced it really well, so its not totally smooth as its actually a composition of pictures rather than a motion video, but the effect is awesome!

One of the first thing most kids (and adults!) do when they get Bendaroos is to simply write their name on the wall.

Bendaroos have a great advantage over pens, pencils, crayons and other artistic objects: They can be easily packed up and then taken out again for later use – without the mess and without getting worn out.

You can make hundreds of creative shapes – look online for some ideas if you are short on imagination. But you will receive some ideas in your Bendaroos pack – I’m sure you can come up with many others yourself!

Consider making:

- An entire zoo theme: create animals, enclosures, trees and more!

- A medieval castle, fit with knights and swords.

- A hospital scene

- A car park filled with all sorts of colored cars and buses.

No Mess Craft Ideas for Summer

During summer your children are at home more often – how do you keep them entertained and out of your hair?

So many summer craft ideas for kids involve mess: glue, markers, crayons, scissors – it’s enough to drive any parent mad!

So how do you get around the mess and still keep your kids happy and creative?

One novel and unique idea are the Bendaroos, which are flexible bending sticks. These might sound plain by name, but not by nature!

What they do is allow your kids to draw without markers, build without blocks and do a whole stack of other activities that will keep them mentally and physically stimulated for hours at a time.

I gave my kids several packs of these bending sticks two months back and they have just been right into them ever since; in fact not a day goes by when they haven’t played with them!

Not bad for children aged as young as 4 and as old as 10! I dare say that kids up to 12 would get a kick out of this stuff too.

I really dislike summer craft ideas for kids that are so messy that you spend hours cleaning up after the kids have finished. Of course, it is always you who is left to tidy up. The flexible sticks don’t need tidying though. Your kids can draw what they like (or build what they like) and then it can be easily packed away for next time.
